Plus, both oils contain high levels of fatty acids that closely mimic the natural oils found on our skin which means they absorb quickly without leaving any greasy residue. The caster oil acts as a heavy emollient that coats the beard. This keeps all the moisture from the other two oils locked in. The biggest benefit of caster oil though is that it offers antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. This is important because ultimately healthy skin makes for a healthy beard.
